English Schools Athletics Association Track & Field Championships
The ESAA Track and Field Champsionships are usually held on the second Friday/Saturday in July and is open to Juniors/Intermediates/Seniors.
We are only allowed to select a team of 40 athletes in total for the ESAA Track & Field Champs. The first to be put forward will be athletes that have achieved a National Standard, then English Schools Standards, (standards can be found under the standards tab) any places left are then decided on a mixture of how close they are percentage wise to the standard, plus Power of 10 Ranking and likelihood of progression through the rounds. Those wishing to seek selection will need to take part in the County Champs (Seniors can be nominated by sending info to Caroline Bird email@example.com).
If you wish to be selected you will need to register your interest on the English Schools Website.
Please click on the link below and fill out the Athlete Registration button, on the left had side once the page has opened.
PLEASE NOTE, GAINING A STANDARD DOES NOT GUARANTEE SELECTION, IF WE ARE OVER OUR QUOTA, WE WILL SELECT THOSE WHO ARE LIKELY TO GET INTO FINALS, HIGH RANKINGS ON POWER OF 10, A HIGHER PERCENTAGE OVER THE STANDARD.
If you are selected for English Schools you will be required to wear full Bucks Kit. Please click on the tab for kit and prices.
If selected you will receive all the information required from the Bucks Team Managers in the form of a letter via e-mail. There will also be a kit form, parental consent, medical form and a code of conduct which needs to be signed.
Intermediates finishing in the top 2 in their event at the English Schools can be selected for the Home International which usually takes place the following Saturday.
